Tableau's parameters are variables that can take the place of constants. They are the primary tool that we use when we want to add interactivity into our views, allowing our end users to interact with sliders, drop-down menus, and type in boxes to change the values in the views.
Parameters can be used to change values in a filter, a calculation or even a reference line! In this video, we'll look at the most important things you need to know to work well with parameters.
