Adding comments to fields in Tableau is important to document your work and keep things organized!
For example, you might have two fields with similar names! Adding a comment to them can help you quickly distinguished them in the data pane.
You might've written a complex calculation and you want to leave in-line notes to help someone understand why you wrote what you wrote.
Heck, you might even write a lengthy formula and want to comment out several lines at once!
