Tableau Sets are custom fields which allow you to define subsets of data. They can be used in a variety of ways to make charts more intuitive, interactive, and functional!
Some of the top uses cases we cover for sets in this webinar include:
How to remove unwanted values from end-user filters.
Creating a reusable list-based filter.
Seeing how a subset of values contributes toward an overall whole.
Filter at an aggregated dimension level with LOD expressions.
Create charts which show the top 10 values and an “other” value for any value that’s not part of the top 10.
Drilling down on only one value at a time.
Seeing contribution toward a whole based on user selections.
