Hiding data in a Tableau worksheet is usually as simple as right-clicking on a label and selecting hide.
However, unlike when you exclude data, there is no visual cue in the worksheet that data is being hidden.
Of course, you can use the back arrow to unhide data, but what if you are already 10 steps down the road or saved and closed the workbook with your data hidden? The back arrow won’t be helpful in that case.
The solution is to select the Analysis dropdown on the toolbar and select “Reveal Hidden Data”.
After that, any data that was previously hidden on that worksheet will be visible again.
