About This Class
Tableau Prep Foundations is a class that we’ve put together for anyone who wants to analyse their data in Tableau but:
Your data is too messy
You can't get the data formatted the way you want
You don't really know how to prepare data
Join us as we explore the foundational concepts behind Tableau's newest tool, Tableau Prep. We'll discuss how it will help you get your foot in the door to do more robust data preparation work. Save hours per week that you spend doing manual, repetitive data preparation and get out ahead of the curve using this powerful tool.

A Computer
A Reliable Internet Connection
Tableau Prep 2018.1 or Later
An External Monitor (strongly recommended for optimal experience)
Prerequisites:
Basic understanding of Tableau. You should be able to do the following:
Connect to a data source.
Understand the difference between measures and dimensions.
Build a basic dashboard.
