I was recently working on a project for a client that had a lot of dimension filters - anywhere from 5 to 10 on each dashboard. This allowed us to drill down to the level of information we needed!
But a problem arose when we wanted to reset the filters and select new values. How could we do that? Did we really need to reset each filter individually? That’s so inefficient!
We decided to build a “Reset All Filters” button on each dashboard. When you click on it, it reverts all the filters to their default state so you can quickly make your new selections!
How do we build one?
Build a worksheet which will drive the action
Add the worksheet to a dashboard
Apply dashboard filtering actions
