In its natural state, survey data is rarely in a format where it is optimized for analysis. If you need to visualize survey data, it's likely going to require some preparation and reshaping.
In this webinar, we review some of the key steps needed to reshape survey data. We cover a number of different field types (e.g. numeric responses, text responses, True/False) and how you can optimally shape your data in Tableau Desktop.
We also cover a some of the limitations of shaping survey data in Tableau Desktop and when you may want to bring in additional data shaping muscle like Tableau Prep or Alteryx.
